The following is considered minor news snippets that may appear in the newsletter:
World Net Daily, March 16, 2010 - Girl Scouts taught how to be 'hot'
A new campaign by the Girl Scouts, with the help of Planned Parenthood, is offering girls ages 10 to 14 the inside details on how to be "hot." The brochure targets young people and contains graphic details on sex. It also encourages casual sex in many forms. The international organization boasts it reaches 10 million girls in 145 countries. And not only does it provide suggestions for promiscuous sex, it also defines as acceptable sex while high or drunk.
COMMENT: Jude 1:7 "Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." As you probably were aware, Planned Parenthood is just the instrument to fulfill this prophecy.
Telegraph, March 12, 2010 - Image of Jesus 'appears in a frying pan'
An image of Jesus has appeared in burned bacon fat at the bottom of a frying pan, it has been claimed. "My housemates and I had a few beers earlier in the evening I thought I would snack before going to bed and as it was cooking I decided to take a rest on the couch. Luckily we have an electric hob so I just turned off the heat, but then I lifted up the bacon and there was JC looking back at me."
COMMENT: Matthew 24:23 "Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not." The image is clear but it certainly not a message from heaven. God clearly condemns alcohol use in Proverbs 20:1. "Wine [is] a mocker, strong drink [is] raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise." And do not try the contradiction method to prove the Bible allows it elsewhere. If it could be done then the Bible would be null and void and we are all fooling ourselves. Therefore, God would not reward such behavior with an image of Himself. It is another who wants to confirm the young man in his lifestyle. Not one mention of letting go of the boos. Not one mention of changing his life. Just a mention that someone was watching over him, i.e., confirming him that God is with him as he his.
MSNBC, February 27, 2010 - Big quake question: Are they getting worse?
One scientist, however, says that relative to the time period from the mid-1970s to the mid-1990s, Earth has been more active over the past 15 years or so.
COMMENT: Matthew 24:7-8 "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these [are] the beginning of sorrows." Now we are not people who get excited over the increase of earthquakes today because that would mean that we are going to be hear a long time yet because it would be just the beginning of sorrows. It is note worth information, but we believe the increase in earthquakes happened over a hundred years ago and we are approaching the end of sorrows.
WVEC, February 23, 2010 - At Ivor church, clothing is optional
In church, you come as you are. That's especially true inside the Whitetail Chapel in Ivor. Clothing is optional for everyone from the pastor to the congregation. "Some of the biggest moments in Jesus' life he was naked," Pastor Allen Parker said. "When he was born he was naked, when he was crucified he was naked and when he arose he left his clothes in the tomb and he was naked. If God made us that way, how can that be wrong?"
COMMENT: "None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover [their] nakedness: I [am] the LORD." (Leviticus 18:6) And much of Leviticus 18 commands about nakedness not to be expressed. According to Luke Luke 24:12, the clothing was that which wrapped the Lord. Earthly clothing will not be used. But that does not mean Jesus did not have some other type of heavenly clothing on. Adam and Eve were not naked in the garden. They were found naked after sin. Again, they were clothed.
