4/3/2010 - Slate, March 3, 2010 - The Shame Cycle - The new backlash against casual sex TEXT:Compelling research shows that hooking up is not psychologically damaging, and only purity-ring-clutching evangelicals believe that it's wrong to have sex before marriage. Feminist Web sites advise that is it our "feminist duty to 1) seek pleasure and feel entitled to it and 2) to make the world a more orgasmic place for other women." And yet there seems to be something else at play in the culture that's making Klausner and Anderson regretful, some new wave of anti-orgasmic sexual conservatism that makes you hate yourself for what you did last night. COMMENT:1 Thessalonians 4:3 "For this is the will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication." The more society denies it, the more they prove that God's ways are best and blessed. A night of pleasure or a life of uncommitted relations may seem pleasurable but long term it is not. And evangelicals are not the only ones that should believe that sex outside of marriage is wrong.

March 18: When one thinks of war, one probably thinks of weapons, especially guns and bombs. But when God is the Commander in Chief in your life, the weapons are His and they may be unusual - rams’ horns, prayer, the Word, shouting, a staff, submission, etc. As for the advantage, God does not loose a war.

2/22/2009 - World Net Daily, February 22, 2009 - Obama ripped on 'sex agenda' TEXT:A renowned expert on the life and work of sex scientist Alfred Kinsey, widely known as the "father of the sexual revolution," is raising alarms over President Obama's pursuit of sex "education" for kindergartners and his plans to install a pornography advocate in a top Justice Department position. COMMENT:A glimpse of heaven according to Isaiah 65:20 is, "For the child shall die an hundred years old". This simply refers to the innocence of a child shall last as long as a hundred years old. That is because there shall be no evil to influence the child to give up the innocence as there is today. If we could only let our children be children as long as they can be.

March 18: JOSHUA TAKES JERICHO And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, [and] the mighty men of valour. (Joshua 6:2) Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, [and] the mighty men of valour. And ye shall compass the city, all [ye] men of war, [and] go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long [blast] with the ram's horn, [and] when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him. (Joshua 6:1-5)

The Ten Commandments (Exodus 34:28)
Are the Ten Commandments just an object?
In light of the recent issues in Alabama, we do agree that the ACLU is going a bit out of their way to rid Christian symbols from government property and that is wrong. But equally troubling is how many Christians have raised a voice and even their bodies to stand in the way of removing the symbol and yet are not keeping the very commandments they are defending. Many had greatly sacrificed for support of the Ten Commandments remaining on display including chaining themselves and performing other anti-ruling protesting methods, yet, there were examples of these Christians not keeping the commandments. To this, God says, “to obey [is] better than sacrifice” (1 Samuel 15:22).

March 18: With children taking knives, guns, and bombs to school to take care of problems, consider the way God would have us take care of problems: prayer, the Bible, submitting, etc. God's weapons are unusual but no more unusual as when the city of Jericho was taken by Joshua.

NEW TESTAMENT LESSON
Jesus Calls Peter, John, James, and Andrew To Follow Him (Matthew 4:13-22, Mark 1:16-20, Luke 4:31, 5:1-11)
Jesus then left Nazareth and dwelt in Capernaum, which fulfilled a prophecy spoken many hundreds of years earlier by the prophet Isaiah. "The people, along the sea coast, were in darkness or not able to know about the truth saw great light or they were now able to understand." Jesus spoke the truth with understanding. From that time Jesus began to preach saying, "Repent! For the kingdom of heaven is at hand or near." And Jesus taught the people on the Sabbath days.

Proverbs 18:1 ¶ Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh [and] intermeddleth with all wisdom. Proverbs 18:2 ¶ A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself. Proverbs 18:3 ¶ When the wicked cometh, [then] cometh also contempt, and with ignominy reproach.

March 18: Joshua 15:1 [This] then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; [even] to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward [was] the uttermost part of the south coast. Joshua 15:2 And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward: Joshua 15:3 And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:
